Corinthians 3- Paul and Apollos God's Fellow Workers

Brothers, I could not speak to you in the same way as the spiritually mature, but like you talk to the worldly, even like talking to babies in The Anointed One.

I have fed you with milk, and not meat, because up until now you were not able to handle it, and you still aren't.

For you are still worldly, because there is still jealousy and fighting among you, and you are all divided, so aren't you still worldly and walk like mere men?

When one says, "I follow Paul," while another says, "I follow Apollos," aren't you acting worldly?

Who is Paul, and who is Apollos? Only the servants by whom you believed, just doing the work God has given to them, like He gives everyone work to do.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

And so, neither he that plants nor he that waters is anything important. Only God who gives the increase.

Now he that plants and he that waters are united, and every man will receive his own reward according to his own work.

Because we work together with God. You are God's garden, His building project.

Christ the Only Foundation

Because of the undeserved favor God gave to me, like a master carpenter, I have laid the foundation, and others have built on it. But everyone must be careful how he builds.

Because no one can lay any foundation except the one already laid- Jesus the Anointed One.

Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, gemstones, wood, hay, stubble,

Everyone's work will be made obvious, when it is exposed to the light of Judgement Day. Then it will be tested by fire which will show what kind of work it is.

If anyone's work survives that he has built, he will receive a reward.

If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but like someone who barely escaped a fire.

You are God's Temple

Don't you know you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

God will destroy anyone who ruins God's temple, because the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.

Don't let anyone fool himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this world, let him become a fool, so that he may really become wise.

Worldly Wisdom is Foolishness to God

Because the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God, just like it is written, "He snares the wise with their own craftiness.

Job 5:13 He catches the wise in their craftiness, and sweeps away the plans of the cunning.

And again, "The Master knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are worthless."

Psalm 94:11 The I AM knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.

And so, don't let anyone boast about mere humans, because everything belongs to you.

Whether its Paul, Apollos, Peter, or the world, life, death, the future or the present, they all belong to you,

And you belong to the Anointed One, and He belongs to God.
