Romans 14- Do Not Judge Your Brother

Accept anyone whose faith is weak, but don't argue about what he believes. Just accept him.

For example, some believe there are no dietary restrictions under God, but others, those who are weak, believe they should be vegetarians.

Don't let the one who eats meat have contempt for the vegetarian. And the vegetarian shouldn't condemn anyone who eats meat. Afterall, God has saved them both.

What right do you have to criticize someone else's servants? Only a servant's own Boss can decide if they are doing what they are supposed to be doing, and God makes sure His servants are doing right.

In the same way, some think some days are more holy than others, while some believe all days are of equal value. Let everyone decide for himself which he believes.

He that observes a holy day is using that day to worship God. And he that treats all days equal, worships God in them all. He that eats meat, eats it to God's glory because he thanks God for it. And the vegetarian honors God by not eating meat, giving Him thanks.

For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.

Contemporary English Version: Whether we live or die, it must be for God, rather than for ourselves.

For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Whether we live then, or die, we are the Lord's.

Because Christ died and rose in order to be Boss both of the living and the dead.

So, why do thou judge thy brother? Why do thou belittle thy brother? We will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

It is written, "As I live, says the I AM, every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue will confess to God."

Isaiah 45:23 "By Myself I have sworn; truth has gone out from My mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow before Me, every tongue will confess allegiance."
So then every one of us will give account of himself to God.

Do Not Cause Your Brother to Stumble

So, let's stop condemning each other. Instead, let's determine to live in a way that won't cause others to stumble or hinder them in their walk with God.

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself. But if anyone thinks something is wrong, to him it will be wrong.

But if thy fellow believer is weakened in their walk because of your food, you are not being loving to keep eating it. Don't destroy him with your food whom Christ died for.

Don't let your good become something that does evil spoken.

For the kingdom of God is not about food and drink, but about righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

Let us, then, pursue the things which create peace, and things we can use to build each other up.

Because food doesn't destroy God's work. Everything is really pure, but it becomes evil if it causes someone else to stumble in their walk with God.

You shouldn't eat meat or drink alcohol or do anything else that will cause someone else to be weakened in their walk with God.

So, whatever you believe about these kinds of things keep to yourself. Don't feel guilty about what you believe is right.

And he that doubts is damned if he eats, because he doesn't eat out of faith. Because whatsoever is not done out of faith is sin.
