Leviticus 1- Sacrifices

And the I AM called to Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, saying,

"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, 'If any man of you bring an offering to the I AM, you will bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

"'If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without flaw. He will offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the I AM.

"'And he will put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to cover over his sins.

"'And he will kill the bullock before the I AM, and the priests, Aaron's sons, will bring the blood, and sprinkle it around and on the altar that is by the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

"'And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay the wood in order on the fire:

And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar.

But its inner organs and legs shall he wash in water, and the priest will burn all of it on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet smell to the Lord.

And if his offering is of the flocks of sheep or goats, for a burnt sacrifice, he will bring a male without flaw.

And he will kill it on the north side of the altar before the Lord, and the priests, Aaron's sons, will sprinkle its blood around and on the altar.

And he will cut it in pieces, with its head and fat, and the priest will lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar:

But he will wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest will bring it all, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet scent to the Lord.

And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the Lord be of fowls, then he will bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

And the priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar. And its blood will be wrung out at the side of the altar.

And he will pluck away its digestive track with its feathers, and cast them beside the east side of the altar, by the place of the ashes:

And he will cut it in half with its wings, but will not divide it completely in two. And the priest will burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet scent to the Lord.
