Leviticus 6- Sins Requiring a Guilt Offering

And the I AM spoke to Moses, saying,

If someone sins against the I AM by lying to his neighbor about something he was given to take care of, or about a deposit, or by stealing, or has in any way deceived his neighbor,

Or finds something that doesn't belong to him and lies about it, or gives false testimony, in any of these sins,

Then, because he has sinned and is guilty, he will restore whatever he violently took away, or got by deceit, or what was entrusted to him, or what he found that wasn't his.

Or everything he lied about. He will give it back plus one fifth of its value on the day he offers a sin offering, to whoever he wronged.

And he will bring his sin offering to the I AM, a flawless ram from the flock, with thy estimation of its value, for a sin offering, to the priest:

And the priest will make a sin-payment for him before the I AM, and it will be forgiven him for any of the sins he has committed.

The Burnt Offering

And the I AM spoke to Moses, saying,

"Tell Aaron and his sons, "The burnt offering is to be kept burning on the alter all night long.

And the priest will put on his ceremonial linen clothes, including his linen underclothes, and clean the ashes from the burnt offering out of the altar, and place them by its side.

And he will take off his ceremonial clothes and put on different clothes, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.

And the fire on the altar must be kept burning. Don't let it go out. The priest will add wood to it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it, then burn the fat of the peace offerings.

The fire will always be burning on the altar. Don't ever let it go out!

The Grain Offering

And this is the law for the grain offering: the sons of Aaron will offer it before the I AM, before the altar.

And he will take a handful of the flour from the grain offering, and of its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the grain offering, and will burn it on the altar for a sweet scent, even the token part of it, to the I AM.

And Aaron and his sons will eat the rest of it with unleavened bread in the holy place, in the court of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

It will not be baked with yeast. I have given it to them for their part of My offerings made by fire. It is most holy, just like the sin offering and the trespass offering.

All of Aaron's male descendents will eat it. It will be a law forever to your descendents concerning the offerings to the I AM made by fire. Only the holy will touch them.

And the I AM spoke to Moses, saying,

This is the offering Aaron and his sons will offer to the I AM the day they are anointed; two quarts of fine flour, half in the morning and half in the evening.

Mix it in a pan, bake it, then bring it in the Tabernacle and offer it as a sweet scent to the I AM.

The priest and his sons that are anointed in his place will offer it, completely burning it up. This is the law forever.

For every grain offering for the priest will be completely burnt. It shall not be eaten.

The Sin Offering

The I AM spoke to Moses, saying,

Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: Kill the sin offering in the same place as the burnt offering. It is most holy.

The priest that offers it for sin will eat it in the holy place, in the court of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

Whatever touches this meat will be holy, and when it's blood is sprinkled on any clothes, wash them in the holy place.

But the clay pot it is soaked in will be broken. If it is soaked in a brass pot, it must be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

All the male priests will eat it. It is most holy.

But don't eat the sin offering whose blood was brought into the Tabernacle of the Congregation to make a sin-payment with. Burn it up instead.
